GateFire is developed by an individual developer (Santiago Morel), not a company. The game has no backend server of its own. The only data it handles is (1) what Apple's Game Center service collects when you sign in and submit a score, and (2) a small amount of local, on-device storage. There are no ads, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no data is sold or shared for advertising.
GateFire uses Apple's Game Center (GameKit) for player authentication and its leaderboard feature. When you sign in to Game Center and submit a score:
This data is collected, stored, and processed by Apple as part of Game Center, not by GateFire's developer directly — GateFire has no server that stores or has access to this information outside of what Game Center itself provides. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles Game Center data. You can decline Game Center sign-in and still play GateFire — the leaderboard just won't be available.
GateFire saves a small amount of data locally on your device only (using iOS's standard app storage, not transmitted anywhere): your selected ship skin and your local high score. This data never leaves your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
GateFire does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described above (which is limited to Apple's own Game Center identifiers, only if the player chooses to sign in). If you believe a child has provided information through Game Center that shouldn't have been, please contact Apple directly regarding their Game Center account, or reach out using the contact information below with any concerns about GateFire specifically.
If GateFire's data practices change in the future (for example, if analytics or advertising are added in a later update), this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
